Oil, Silver, and Gold

I believe a frame is an integral part of a painting.  I love hand gilded gold and silver, not the metal leaf you see in most galleries and frame shops.  I spent years learning how to gild and how to tone the gold once it was applied.  I have recently been applying my gilding techniques in my paintings.
